Role Overview: Our client is looking for a proactive social-native individual who will work collaboratively with the Marketing and Creative teams to drive the brand’s social media marketing efforts across multiple owned channels, including new platforms as they arise. The Social Media Manager, will partner with the Marketing team to ideate and strategize engaging social content strategies and help create some in-house content to support brand storytelling and core/new products. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves storytelling and beauty, likes being part of a small but mighty team and wants to grow with the brand, and is organized with great communication skills.
Social Media Manager Responsibilities:
- Help to develop and execute the social media plan across key channels to increase brand awareness, audience, engagement, reach, affinity, and conversion
- Inspire social-first creative content ideas and compelling storytelling that embody the brand pillars while driving relevance and fostering community engagement
- Build and own the social media calendar to support new product launches, brand campaigns, UGC, and evergreen content across all channels
- Create quick turnaround content for various social channels.
- Brief Creative and Copy teams with clear objectives and creative insights while managing schedule for timely approvals and posting
- Have the pulse on all things social media and serve as the thought leader, sharing best practices, platform updates, new tools, emerging trends, and competitive references
- Lead daily inbound and outbound community management to increase brand engagement and sentiment, collaborating with Customer Care on direct response issues
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for our TikTok agency, working closely on strategy, production, approvals, and optimizations
- Report on weekly/monthly channel KPIs, content insights, and community commentary with thorough analysis and thoughtful recommendations
Social Media Manager Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of related work experience in social media management
- Background in beauty, luxury, and/or wellness required
- Ability to execute in the short-term while simultaneously developing long-term strategy, seamlessly balancing priorities
- Thrives in a nimble, agile, “roll up your sleeves” environment while maintain high standards for execution
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Keynote and Google Documents
