Instagram is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our Contextual Commerce team, which builds ad products that help people discover and engage with businesses and products they love. Product Marketing Managers are responsible for 1) being the representative of market in product (“inbound” work) by bringing the advertiser point of view into product strategy and development, and 2) being the representative of product back to market (“outbound” work) by leading go-to-market to launch ad products and drive advertiser adoption and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a multi-disciplinary background with strategy and analytical skills, and have some experience in consulting, go-to-market, product management or marketing, and/or digital advertising. We’re looking for strong problem solvers who are passionate about understanding the needs of businesses in order to influence product roadmaps. Business Product Marketing Manager, Monetization, Instagram Responsibilities:
- Drive product strategy in partnership with product management, engineering, design, user research, and data science
- Represent the market and influence the product roadmap through market research, competitive analysis, and qualitative feedback from businesses
- Lead and execute go-to-market plans, including coordinating and communicating the launch of new ad products both internally to sales and externally to the market
- Manage alpha/beta testing to ensure successful launches and to accelerate product-market fit
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years working in management consulting, investment banking, business strategy or operations, product management or product marketing, digital advertising, or other analytical roles
- Experience influencing strategic decisions through structured frameworks, data-driven analysis, and clear recommendations
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders
- Communication experience
- BA/BS degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with go-to-market strategy
- Experience working with product teams and/or sales
