Ten Thousand is looking for a driven Brand Marketing Associate to create momentum and energy in the community with a focus on event production and brand partnerships.

Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, this role works closely with our SVP of Brand and larger marketing and creative departments, and is responsible for strategizing and executing grassroots brand events as well as larger brand activations. In addition, this role will manage relationships with existing brand partners while also exploring future partnership opportunities.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create momentum and energy in the community that expands reach for Ten Thousand in authentic and meaningful ways
- Lead seasonal brand-led events (ex. weekly Run Strong events) and act as a connector and pillar of the brand in the gym/fitness/wellness world
- Manage our partnership with Life Time Fitness and activate with Life Time general managers, trainers, and members through media, events, personal relationships, etc.
- Source and nurture gym partnerships to become a pillar of our community and brand building efforts
- Work with the Director of Brand Marketing to identify new brand partners for events, product collaborations, content capture, etc.
- Work cross-functionally with the product, marketing, and creative teams to plan and launch new product collaborations
- Onboard and manage agency partners to assist with event and creative production
- Attend external events and gym classes/workouts as a Ten Thousand representative
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of experience in brand marketing, event production, brand partnerships, or influencer marketing
- Proven track record of producing events at both a grassroots and brand-defining level
- Existing relationships with trainers, athletes, and other brands in the training space is a plus
- Highly creative with a passion for creating engaging brand content & experiences
- Coaching or personal training experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A positive attitude and desire to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FROM OUR NYC HQ
The hiring range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 annually. Salary for the prospective employee is determined by a combination of factors that include qualifications, applicable skills, relevant experience and other budgetary considerations such as location/geography.
