Overview:

Xerox Corporation is an information services technology company that has continually redefined the workplace experience for more than 100 years is currently seeking a Associate III, Materials & Order Management to support our Cheshire, CT Distribution Center. As a Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for a wide variety of warehouse activities relating to the receipt, inspection, storage, picking, distribution and basic set up of office equipment, supplies and various goods. This is a full-time opportunity with daytime hours with occasional overtime.

What You Will Do:

Assist in receiving and shipping of Xerox products, equipment and various goods
Load and unload vehicles
Prepare equipment for shipment and delivery
Check all orders for accuracy
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment
May assist drivers with deliveries and interact with customers as needed
Assist with inventory as needed

What You Need to Succeed:

1 – 2 years of warehouse experience is preferred
Inventory knowledge and/or experience is highly preferred
Shipping and receiving knowledge and/or experience is highly preferred
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience using smartphone, tablet and/or laptop
Knowledge of Microsoft applications and the Internet
Experience operating a forklift is preferred

Physical Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to stand for 8+ hours and regularly lift 50-70 pounds
Able to safely maneuver oversized and overweight equipment
Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that may not be climate-controlled
