Description:

Serves as the primary contact for day-to-day operations of the assigned clinic site. Coordinates the daily operations and responsible for both patient and provider flow within the clinic. Works jointly with functional leaders of Patient Accounting, Patient Access and Information Management. Contributes to the selection, training, development and assessment of staff. Implements policies and procedures for the operation of the clinics. Evaluates processes and makes recommendations for improvements. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne

What you will Do:  

Facilitates patient flow and physician productivity in clinics.
Contributes to physician department meeting agendas.
Schedules provider work, vacation, and CME time.
Facilitates provider practice start-ups.
Works closely with clinic director in all areas of clinic operations.

Hours/Schedule:   

80 Hours Biweekly (1.0FTE)

Minimum Qualifications:     

Minimum of 1-year post-secondary education in business or health-related field.
Graduate of an accredited nursing or medical assistant program preferred. Candidates with Certification and/or appropriate experience in a related field (lab, X-ray, etc.) may be considered.
Minimum of 2 years medical office experience.
Or minimum of 5 years progressively more responsible healthcare experience
Current license and/or certification in accordance with education.
