This Data Specialist position is vital in resolving data quality issues across the organization. This Master Data Management (MDM) analyst will ensure immediate changes to data, while continuously enhancing data quality as per the MDM Manager. Utilizes tools like Excel, Power Query, and other similar analytics tools. Working with systems like Salesforce CRM, Point of Sale and DemandTools.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and facilitate the workflow processes and quality of newly created data, new MDM requests, changes, and deletions
Identify, analyze, report, and resolve data issues related to uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness
Monitor MDM customer service queue requests, ensuring completion in a timely fashion, with any necessary follow-up with stakeholders or leadership
Monitor the quality of newly created data. Assist with data cleansing and validation
Investigate and analyze data, and the impact of any data changes in customer master
Research accounts, companies, and company hierarchies as requested
Follow direction of Manager, MDM
Actively participate in daily standups and other team activities
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure data documentation policies and procedures are followed
Understand customer data: incorporated companies, contacts, individuals; business & non-business organizations; ownership, subsidiary, branch, & headquarters; & creditworthiness
Use knowledge of business functions, Business-to-Business (B2B) Sales, Marketing, and Finance
Learn emerging technologies. Ask questions clarifying ambiguities. Work well independently
Qualifications:
Associate's degree (or equivalent with some college) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math/Statistics, Business or at least 3 years' experience in one or more of these disciplines
Strong experience with Data quality, Data analysis, Data validation, Salesforce, CRM Reporting, Excel, and other data analytics tools
Strong organization, planning, attention to detail and follow-through skills
Demonstrate a high degree of curiosity with a strong bias for action. Takes initiative and ownership
Excellent customer service, communication, problem-solving, prioritizing, and multi-tasking skills
Familiar with relational databases, data warehouses, and data lakes
Familiar with security policies, data access, privacy, & risk
Some experience working with large data sets, using SQL, Excel and other data analytics tools
Salesforce, DemandTools or Informatica MDM a plus (not required)
Salary Range:
The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $25.00 and $37.00 per hour.
Pay is based on qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training and other considerations permitted by law. We consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with applicable law.
