Duties & Responsibilities: Define and improve the quality processes within the AHI Organization, facilitate PDCA/PPS projects as required. Ensures the implementation of Quality Requirements in regard to engineering tasks (e.g. (MRB), drawing review, Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) Process with suppliers). Quality liaison for Customer and Technical Support. Serves as the Quality board member for MRB and is responsible for MRB dispositions. Act as a Lead Auditor in AHI's Internal Audit Program, and support AHI internal Auditor training. Act as primary Quality interface with Type Design Holder to resolve product, system and design defects.
Coordinator for internal Quality Notification process in SAP; disposition and closure. Coordinate supplier First Article Inspection process on new STC/PMA parts. Quality liaison supporting Purchasing, Logistics and Industry departments for supplier rejections and discrepant material.
Requirements

: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aviation, or Engineering, or equivalent experience. Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience with a minimum of three (3) of those years as a Quality Engineer. In lieu of degree, 12 years in a Quality Assurance capacity (Engineering/Analyst/Inspection), with three (3) of those as a Quality Engineer Knowledge of FAA & AS9100 rules and regulations. Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Facilitation. US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
