JOB SUMMARY
Textron is seeking an experienced Payroll Financial Analyst to join the team who will support daily activities of the enterprise payrolls, provide guidance and support to the payroll teams and business units. This position will support enterprise payroll administration, including payroll processing, payroll case management, payroll project coordinating, health and welfare, stock options, and related reporting.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the Payroll team with day-to-day processes while troubleshooting and researching escalations from enterprise/multi-country payrolls. Partner with ADP and business unit payroll teams and internal/external partners in the resolution of issues proactively keeping stakeholders informed of status and take responsibility for ensuring outstanding issues are addressed timely.

Maintain payroll related balance sheet reconciliations, identify and process corrections as needed

Manage and verify monthly Payroll GL reconciliation accounts along with year-end accounting activities

Conduct research and analysis to extract and interpret data from various sources, manage the delivery of standardized reports, and provide recommendations to management

Ability to create and analyze reports on an as needed basis. Prepare and maintain standard and ad hoc reports, queries, and conduct appropriate audits to ensure data integrity

Analyze payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities

Support audit and validation process for supplement compensation payments and work/home location to identify proper state income tax withholding allocations

Support enhancement opportunities for payroll processes and policies, utilizing automation and optimization strategies to ensure accuracy and compliance

Drive process improvements, automation, and recommendations leading to best practices

Act as a point of contact between payroll projects team and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout projects as needed

Assist with organizing and scheduling meetings, and maintaining payroll project timelines

Maintaining detailed records of payroll project progress and other important documents

Assist with all government, internal and external audit inquiries and demonstrate compliance with reliability and integrity within our payroll practices

Cultivate positive relationships with vendors and ensuring compliance with company standards

Ensure systems are established to optimize workflow, meet the payroll requirements and controls, maximize technical efficiencies, and secure data

Protect and maintain the privacy of employee personnel records including, but not limited to, personal and compensation information about employees

Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

5 years of payroll accounting or financial experience

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred

Proficiency in ADP payroll systems and standard procedures

Proven experience in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with PeopleSoft Payroll and systems integration is a plus
