Unlicensed annual salary of $54,000 - $61,560 and licensed annual salary of $56,637 - $64,566.18 (dependent upon experience) with a $2,000 sign on bonus (for external applicants)
Devereux Children’s Behavioral Health Center (DCBHC), located in Malvern, PA, provides programs and services for children and adolescents who are experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis within a safe and compassionate inpatient environment. The team is currently seeking a Full Time Clinician to provide the coordination and delivery of clinical services to include family and individual therapy for assigned individuals.
Day to day responsibilities include:

Provides and/or coordinates the delivery of non-medical therapeutic services to patients in an acute care setting utilizing assessments, and individual, group and family therapy.

Conduct strength based bio-psychosocial and need oriented assessment of current family/guardian system, develop treatment plan and follow up on progress

Enter authorizations into Profiler within 24hr of obtaining them and follow up with all appeals

Serves as the voice of treatment with all formal and informal communication with the team

Coordinates discharge planning and assigned liaison activities between families, agencies, and the treatment team to insure the highest standard of participation and the best practice of service delivery
Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) center serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or other related Human Service Discipline. Licensed or licensure track preferred.

Clinical Internship and one year relevant experience working with children and adolescents in a residential setting required.

Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of software programs (i.e. Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc).
