About the Role DriveWealth is seeking a Summer Intern to join our compliance team. In this role, you will help the compliance team deliver new capabilities and controls. This will be a hands-on role responsible for projects with clear objectives and outcomes achievable within the ~10-week program. The individual will actively work alongside other members of the Compliance team, engage cross-functional partners, conduct regular reviews of their work, and participate in real business decisions. What You’ll Do - We have identified a handful of potential assignments to best match the candidate with work that aligns with their experience, study area, and professional aspirations. - Potential assignments could include: - Owning a project on improving a compliance and AML (anti-money laundering) process - Developing internal documentation on how to accomplish critical compliance tasks and reviews best - Research new SEC or FINRA rule proposals for impact on our business and compliance requirements - Engage with the regulatory technology team, utilizing their technical skills to support trade data analysis and surveillance development What You’ll Need - Strong writing and analytical experience - Baseline understanding of the brokerage industry, trading platforms and SaaS for B2B - Drive to learn, dig deep, and resourcefulness - Undeterred by obstacles with the ability to problem solve, pivot, and refocus - Effective communicator who takes the initiative to engage and collaborate with others Qualifications - Currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or MBA degree with a graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027 - Be available full-time and in-person for 40 hours per week - Must reside in NY metro area; relocation support will not be provided - Must be available from Monday, June 2, 2025 to Friday, August 15, 2025 The deadline to apply is Friday, December 6, 2024.
