Job Description
Job Title: Service Coordinator
Reports To: Service Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary: Under direction of the Service Manager, the Lead Service
Planner/Coordinator\
establishes, manages, reviews and coordinates on-site service schedules
for Hermle Field\
Service Engineers and customers. Able to meet deadlines and exercise
judgement regarding\
related items.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
1. Schedule, direct and coordinate Field Service Engineers for on-site
installation,
preventative maintenance and retrofits
2. Effectively recommends technical support to customers via phone and
email
3. Provide technical support to the Field Service Engineers
4. Analyze service requests and define Field Service Engineers
schedules as well as spare
parts needed for work
5. Troubleshoot issues unitizing SAP
6. Administer on-site training to Field Service Engineers and customers
7. Execute, implement and maintain procedures for the service
department
8. Oversee and support the shipping of parts and tracking of
parts/service equipment to
and from customer locations
9. Oversee service equipment and tools (ordering, calibration,
replacement and quantity),
tracking usage and return
10. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested

Must possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry
out detailed instructions\
furnished in written, oral or diagram format. Must possess strong
knowledge, understanding and\
experience in various problem-solving and participatory management
techniques.
Computer Skills:\
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of
Microsoft Office Suite\
and SAP software.
Education/Experience:\
Bachelors degree or equivalent; or at least 4-6 years related experience
in a manufacturing\
environment. Accuracy is essential to this position.
