The role you’ll contribute:
Leads projects to support the SVP Public Affairs and departmental strategies across government advocacy teams; Identifies specific plan deliverables and strategies, milestones, and required tasks needed for individual project success; Leads the development of project plans, timelines, and status updates; Drives dashboard development; Maintains standards and templates; Provides timely, relevant updates to varying audiences.
Develops along with SVP of Public Affairs the annual and multi-year departmental priorities, and manages execution of strategies including but not limited to government advocacy, internal and external strategic communications, community health investment, industry positioning and sustainability.
Drives development of processes for strategic initiatives and critical projects by structuring complex activities into phased workstreams and deliverables. Directs appropriate governance cadence and successful initiative tracking system to ensure project goals and objectives are achieved within the project scope and timeframe established.
Takes a leadership role in developing/improving standardized processes for managing, analyzing, reporting, tracking, and communicating through projects.
Recommends actions and exercises discretion regarding key business processes; Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on projects/tasks to completion.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
Experience with project management methodologies
Ability to process computer data and to format into reports
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or Advertising or related fields
More than 4 years of hands-on Marketing and Communication experience
Proven experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified.
Experience working with diverse teams, managing multiple events and projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Master’s degree in above discipline
Experience in healthcare marketing leadership
Public speaking experience
