Summary
The Project Planning Analyst is responsible for the planning, tracking and analysis of requests to achieve organizational goals as well as compiling and reporting project data on a regular basis. Analyzes and tracks project data to improve project management and construction processes and efficiencies.
Key Roles & Responsibilities

Assists in planning, analyzing and monitoring project activities to achieve corporate goals.

Effectively communicates with external and internal personnel to ascertain customer needs.

Review, analyze and coordinate various projects and be able to provide pertinent information upon request.

Develop and maintain a system to track preconstruction activities and develop visibility of this information.

Effectively evaluate project scope for efficient assignment to a Project Manager.

Assist with project tracking and achieving performance metrics.

Actively participate in meetings with Project Coordinators, Developer Managers, Project Managers and other work groups with the ability to provide project information when needed.

Make recommendations for and assist in the development of new processes and system improvements that enhance visibility to improve the PMDS organization.

Interact effectively and in a collaborative environment with Distribution Engineering & Design, Major Construction, District representatives and all other internal work groups.

Work as team member for serve new projects including reviewing, organizing and submitting customer load data.

Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements.
Education, Experience, & Skills

Education:
-
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required; College degree is preferred;
-
Experience in data analytics, project tracking and project management preferred.

Skills:
-
Familiar with Microsoft Office software, DIS / WaAm, Partner and CC&B preferred

Ability to provide project tracking including load data gathering

Analyze data to provide actionable information

Provide critical thinking and problem solving skills to resolve issues effectively

Ability to learn new methods, techniques and software as needed to accomplish tasks
