Your role involves transforming content into engaging web experiences using content management systems and other digital tools. You’ll learn to navigate different platforms, including popular CMS options like Drupal, and quickly get up to speed with new interfaces. Quality control is a top priority at Instructure, ensuring your work is always polished and accurate. And when those web pages go live, you’ll be proud to say, 'I helped build that.' Here's what you will be doing: - Work with marketing, design, development, and product teams to coordinate content production and align web content with overall business objectives. - Create, edit, and optimize various web pages using pre-existing components and templates within Drupal, ensuring alignment with brand standards and best practices. - Implement and optimize web content with basic SEO techniques, including meta descriptions, alt text, and keyword placement as guided. - Perform regular checks to identify broken links, outdated content, or technical issues and address or escalate as needed. - Recognize opportunities for optimization and recommend improvements to the web production process, the website's front end, and the CMS. What we're looking for: - Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-focused environment with diverse, global, and cross-functional teams across multiple time zones. - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently. - General understanding of SEO and UX best practices. - Experience reviewing web content for accuracy and consistency, ensuring compliance with brand standards. Required Experiece: - Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience. - 1+ years in a web production or similar operational role. - Experience with traditional and headless CMS, such as Drupal. - Familiarity with collaboration tools and systems (e.g., Asana, Google Workspace, GatherContent, Slack, Zoom). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong interpersonal abilities.
