Role Summary Reporting to the Senior Manager Finance Sales Support, this role will focus on providing Business Partner support to the Americas Sales region on a day-to-day basis, contributing to Group-level reporting and delivering accurate budgets and forecasts. As a member of the FP&A team you will provide Finance support to the Senior Management Team and will prepare financial analysis to support understanding of Sophos results and to aid strategic decision-making. The role will work very closely with the Americas leadership team, as well as the wider Sales team, Sales Operations, Product teams, and other areas of Finance. What You Will Do - Provide insight to the Senior Management team and the Board of Directors to facilitate deep understanding of key trends and variances to budget/forecast - Assist with month-end FP&A processes, undertaking detailed variance analysis which is fed into monthly board reporting - Own the Americas monthly rolling expense forecast using Anaplan - Support the centralized sales functions - Act as Business Partner to the Americas management team: - Management of Americas P&L - Support monthly Americas operating expense and headcount reviews - Create monthly channel rebate forecasts for the Americas - Produce quarter-end analysis to be presented in Americas quarterly business reviews - Ownership of forecasting for the Americas region, providing an accurate and stress-tested quarterly forecast, along with rolling monthly forecast updates - Enhance reporting on key metrics, including customer trends and top-line indicators - Assist with deal desk quote approvals - Ad hoc financial projects, reporting and analysis - Financial modelling to support Commercial decision-making What You Will Bring - Degree-educated - Experience of working in the FP&A team of a publicly listed or private equity-owned company - Strong analytics and financial skills - Attention to detail - Problem-solver with an appetite to understand complex business areas and a continuous improvement mindset - Advanced Microsoft Excel user - Comfortable working with Big Data - Able to handle conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines - Strong communication skills required; able to develop strong working relationships outside of Finance - Working pattern flexibility Desirable - Eastern US time zone preferred - Experience of working in a software or subscription company - Salesforce experience - Business Intelligence experience (preferably Power BI) - Anaplan experience Additional Information In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $98,000 to $163,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additionalcompensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.
