ABOUT LOVESHACKFANCY

LoveShackFancy is a New York City-based lifestyle brand founded in 2013 by stylist, designer, and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen. The brand originated from Rebecca’s desire to design the perfect bridesmaid dress for her own ethereal summer wedding at her family home in Bridgehampton, surrounded by swaying apple trees. From an initial collection of hand-dyed silk dresses, LoveShackFancy quickly gained a dedicated following for its charming pieces that whisper.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a hardworking and passionate VIP/PR Intern to join our team this Summer.

This internship is an unpaid role, and the candidate MUST receive academic credit as a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Associate Director & Coordinator of VIP & PR with all VIP & editorial sample requests.
Research rising talent and influencers that fit within brand aesthetic and could be of interest for potential collaborations and seasonal activations.
Assist Coordinator with seasonal gifting initiatives and brainstorming of talent to gift.
Monitor all press and social coverage and clippings.
Maintain organization of sample closet and merchandising of current collections in the showroom
Oversee all product logistics including messenger services, FEDEX, UPS, domestic/international shipments ensuring timely delivery.
Perform general administrative duties including maintaining an organized press library, archiving, scanning, packaging, gift wrapping, etc.
Utilize sample tracker to input new samples, manage sample inventory, and track editorial send-outs.
Execute the deliveries of floral deliveries and gifts.
Coordinate local messenger service to pick-up and drop-off samples from magazines and stylists/editors.
Updating of publication, VIP & influencer contacts list

Requirements

Public Relations:

Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and awareness.
Cultivate relationships with media outlets, fashion editors, bloggers, and influencers to secure press coverage and features.
Create press releases, pitches, and other PR materials to communicate brand messages effectively.
Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing regular reports and insights to the management team.

VIP Relations

Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with high-profile individuals, celebrities, stylists, and fashion industry insiders.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop VIP-focused initiatives, events, and partnerships.
Coordinate VIP appearances, fittings, and collaborations for fashion shows, product launches, and other brand events.
Provide personalized service to VIP clients, ensuring their needs and preferences are met while representing the brand.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in college – able to receive school credit
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Google Slides and Sheets / Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Passion for PR, marketing, and VIP.
