Overview

Come join our innovative Analytics team and help enable a world class Risk team. As a Risk Data Analyst, you will be responsible for developing insights, creating descriptive analytics, diagnosing data and prescribing data-driven solutions across our entire business. The successful candidate will be passionate about data, strategy and analytics.

What You'll Do

Responsible for owning the development of insights that empower business users to make day-to-day decisions
Build and implement visualizations that bring forth the depth of data in easy-to-use views and dashboards
Create an “always-on” approach for understanding and analyzing our business
Deliver the build out of innovative approaches to assessing risk models, underwriting and collections
Ensure a strong analytical approach for delivering impactful insights and accurate / meaningful evaluation for all customer risk factors
Coordinate data and business processes to ensure all stakeholders are aligned with our objectives
Have fun while driving innovation and utilizing cutting-edge technologies

Requirements

2+ years of experience in data analytics, risk or data engineering
2+ years of SQL experience with a deep understanding of structured and unstructured databases
Strong experience using Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik to perform data analytical tasks
Bachelor’s degree (Analytics, Marketing, Mathematics, Economics, etc) - MBA or advanced quantitative degree is a plus
Proven understanding of risk data and how to leverage that to drive valuable insights
Working knowledge in relevant technologies/languages: Python, AWS, Snowflake
Excellent collaboration and partnership skills for working across internal organizations
Ability to drive collaboration within a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills and an appreciation of diversity in teamwork
Entrepreneurial spirit. You are self-directed and innovative; you build trust and are biased towards action in fast-paced environments.

The base pay for this role will be between $140,000 and $190,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
