Georges Bergès Gallery is seeking a dynamic and experienced Gallery Manager to oversee exhibition management and logistics in our New York City location. In this role, you will be present at the gallery during gallery hours, manage operations of the gallery, ensure the seamless execution of exhibitions, assist with artwork handling, and support our team as needed. We are looking to hire someone immediately. This is a full-time position in our company’s flagship location in Soho.

Key Responsibilities:

Exhibition Management:

Plan and oversee all aspects of gallery exhibitions, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and execution.

Logistics Coordination:

Manage exhibition logistics, including scheduling, installation, and de-installation processes.

Artwork Handling and Shipping:

Supervise the handling and care of artwork, ensuring proper storage, transportation, shipping, and installation.

Team Assistance:

Provide support to gallery staff as needed, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

What We Would Like You to Have:

Bachelor's Degree in art, arts management, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in gallery or exhibition management, with a focus on logistics and operations.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proactive attitude with the ability to solve problems effectively.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
