Global Travel Manager

Location: New York

Schedule: On-site, 5 days a week

Salary: $175,000 - $225,000 + Bonus

About the Role:

The firm is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Global Travel Manager to lead the strategy and execution of its employee-focused global travel program. This role is essential for optimizing travel operations while maintaining a high standard of service. The successful candidate will leverage extensive industry knowledge to implement strategies that enhance travel offerings and foster a culture of engagement and support within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive global travel program that aligns with the firm's objectives.
Oversee all reporting to ensure cost-effective travel operations.
Manage relationships with travel partners, including agencies, airlines, hotels, and car service providers.
Identify opportunities for program enhancements and efficiencies.
Lead and mentor the travel team, providing guidance on best practices and operational improvements.
Collaborate with various departments to promote travel opportunities and facilitate employee exchanges between offices.
Ensure compliance with travel policies and address any issues that arise during travel operations.
Present reports to senior management on travel program performance and financial metrics.

Qualifications:

15+ years of experience in travel program management for a large corporation, with a proven track record of building and leading a global team.
Excellent relationship management skills with travel partners, including agencies, airlines, and hotels.
A strategic vision for improving travel service offerings, with a clear plan for implementation.
Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of the global travel industry's business ecosystem, including technology and service delivery platforms.
Strong collaborative skills with a willingness to engage across various business areas and regions.
