Requirements:

Meticulous and motivated with an interest in photography.

Great organizational skills.

Reliable and constantly on time.

Patient and not easily discouraged. A positive outlook.

Willing to listen to suggestions and strive to improve.

Preferred Skills:

Produce Black & White Silver gelatin prints - small darkroom projection printing up to 20X24 inches.

Produce Black & White Silver gelatin prints - large darkroom projection printing up to 56X90 inches.

Retouch Black & White Silver gelatin prints with brush and ink

Problem solve and troubleshoot problems with photographic processing

Process Black & White films to the highest standards of quality and consistency

Mix photochemistry and handle bulk chemicals

Use FileMaker to track inventories and create documentation of collections

Receive deliveries of artworks and materials

Manage and handle fragile prints in archive

Help maintain studio and darkrooms

Assist with dry mounting and other activities as needed

Hank’s is located across the street from the Metro North Mount Vernon East station. A 25 minute ride from Grand Central Terminal, 15 minute ride from the Metro North Station at 125th Street and Park Avenue.
