ABOUT TOPICAL CREAM

Topical Cream is a New York-based arts organization supporting the work of women and gender non-conforming contemporary artists.

Topical Cream is the standard and collective record of women and gender non-conforming voices in contemporary art.

For Summer 2024, Topical Cream is looking for interns who have an interest in production, publishing, and contemporary art.

Interns work directly with editorial staff.

THE POSITION

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Production Intern to assist with our upcoming events.

This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable skills in arts administration, writing/editing, and social media management, all within the vibrant non-profit sector of New York's art world.

We are producing several exciting events with contemporary artist and our education partners.

SKILLS

• Knowledge of contemporary art is required

• Any experience with social media is great

• Pervious publishing experience is great

• Calendar management skills is great

• Any production experience is great.

HOURS

In-office Only Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

One Saturday required.

We offer a $300 monthly stipend and can provide academic credit if needed.
