Pay Range: $16.18-$17.86
Full Time 40 hours - Monday-Friday, and weekends
GENERAL SCOPE: Prepares Kosher lunch and dinners for all residents their guests and employees.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION: High school diploma required. Associates Degree in culinary arts/food service is preferred. Must be able to read and follow recipe cards, write, add subtract, communicate in English and follow directions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for recipe adherence on all prepared items.

Prepares lunch entrees based on daily menu.

Maintains kitchen cleanliness and food preparation according to state and local health department code requirements.

Responsible for maintaining Kosher integrity.

Responsible for covering, dating and labeling all products whenever used.

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining a sanitary environment while working.

All other job duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years of cooking in high quality restaurant/hotel. Must possess knowledge of sanitation, recipes and teamwork. Must possess good organizational skills.
