SHIFTS AND HOURS
-
Day shift working 5 Days a week, approximately 36 hours per week
-
Must be available for an occasional call-in
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
-
Implement and supervise preventive maintenance schedule / instruction and complete reports, as requested.
-
Supervise Maintenance and inspection of facility and equipment which may involve plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical equipment repair or similar.

Supervise Maintenance and inspection of Power equipment, Emergency generators and maintain power level of battery.

Supervise Maintenance and inspection of Fire Alarm system to include testing the system. Check condition and readiness of extinguishers on a regular schedule.

Supervise Maintenance and inspection of lighting system throughout facility.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

High school graduate or GED Equivalent.

Maintenance Supervisory experience for at least 1 year.

Experience in maintenance or facility operations.

Knowledge of standard practices, procedures and tools required in the general building/maintenance trades.

Knowledge of maintenance equipment operation and ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
