Job Summary
Manage the research and maintenance involved in analyzing new product directions, prepare news and information summaries for new product launches, monitor sales and support merchandising in product decisions, analyze pricing data for pricing studies, support the Category Manager in the production of various sales tools and ad-hoc projects.
Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Sales and Competitors Analysis
- Produce monthly reports to analyze sales trends of newly launched and active product across all jewelry segments
- Ad hoc analysis projects
- Update and maintain product classifications
- Create quarterly trends presentations detailing competitor’s new collections and current jewelry trends
- Recordkeeping for competitor prices and product offer
Pricing and MDS & Forecast for New and Existing Products
Support Manager with:
- The preparation of costing and product analysis
- MDS proposals and sales forecasting quantities for new products
- Ad hoc price comparisons
Marketing/Retail Tools
- Manage the information gathering and creation of all new jewelry product news presentations
- Help compile, edit and proofread catalogues, social and fact sheets
- Help in updating Jewelry Product Reference Book for semi-annual print editions
Product Development & Recommendations
- Organize the new product news by category and price points
- Create and maintain collection mapping files
- Analyze the assortment by collection, product type and price point and by region to provide recommendation for assortment changes and improvements to maximize sales and productivity
Cross Functional Communication
- Own product communication updates in a timely and accurate manner
- Lead Monthly Sales meetings with the CM/MP Team and support the Manager for Marketing Team meetings

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-3 years in Jewelry Industry/Product Management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) with adaptability to new software
- Graduate Gemologist or Graduate Diamonds accreditation from GIA a plus
- Must be organized
