How To Make The Team
We are looking for a
Business Analyst whowill work as part of the Strategy & Analytics team to support the core efforts of developing analyses and predictive analytics to drive business decision making. This position will use a strong base of technical skills to manipulate and visualize various sources of business data. Problem solving and critical thinking will be key success factors for delivering unique and actionable insights from our business data.
Show Us You Can
- Design and develop internal systems and scripts that can be used to enhance and automate business processes, like daily work functions, and reporting
- Oversee the efficient and proper usage of our CRM system including but not limited to training and supporting users, documentation, updating, and enforcement of best practices, and managing duplicate records
- Create and maintain multiple customer segments and their rules in the database and in CRM for lead distribution. With those, you will continuously monitor and analyze sales pipelines and campaign performance to deliver actionable insights and help shape lead generation strategy
- Work with departments and vendors to implement day-to-day administrative tasks in CRM system including lead distribution, workflows, system maintenance and customizations; identify opportunities to automate manual processes when possible
- Build and maintain Tableau and Salesforce reports and analyses for multiple departments. Data includes ticket sales orders, sponsorship contract details, and concessions transactions, among others and will be consumed by staff across the company, including senior executives
- Manage and implement data integrations between Salesforce and external data sources (e.g., Ticketmaster, Formstack, etc.)
- Partner with team members and other departments to manage vendor relationships and deliverables
Your Training & Talent
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- 1-2 years professional experience in CRM (Salesforce preferred)
- A degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Economics
- A passion for breaking down problems and conceptualizing systematic, sustainable technological solutions according to business requirement
- An ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects by prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and ensuring accuracy
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to translate complex data into accessible business insights
- Curious self-starter who learns new concepts quickly
Where You’ll Go
- The New York Islanders have offices in Floral Park, NY, as well as Manhattan. You will be in the office 2-3 days per week

The salary range for this position is between $60,000-$70,000 annually. Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to, skills, education, training, experience and market demands.
