This position is for a Communications and Marketing Project Coordinatorwith a company located in Jackson.
Summary: The Marketing Project Coordinator receives and processes internal/external communications and marketing requests by reviewing incoming requests and ensuring completeness/accuracy before assigning tasks to the appropriate team members. The role also requires organizational expertise and assistance, supporting and collaborating with department associates to create efficiencies, managing the administrative requirements of the department and contributing to the fulfillment of the branding, advertising and community engagement needs of the company.
Responsibilities and Duties: Coordinates internal/external communications and marketing project processes from initial receipt to fulfillment by ensuring all required information is received, assigning tasks to the appropriate team members, monitoring progress/following up as needed and completing fulfillment tasks. Administers various event ticket distribution systems for customers and associates for Trustmark sponsored events.
Manages the company photography needs throughout the footprint, including conducting new photographer research, determining photographer compatibility with company guidelines and requirements, maintaining local photographer contact records, scheduling sessions, coordinating payments and distributing/storing final photos.
Tracks and maintains inventory of corporate supply of branded promotional items and event display items. Manages administrative functions for the department, such as invoice processing, payment reporting/reconciliations, expense requests, supply management, distribution of mail, management of multiple departmental shared email boxes, maintenance and replacement of office equipment (computers, copiers, etc.), answering phones, filing, etc. Prepares presentation materials/reports, fulfills technology requirements for presentations, virtual meetings, conference calls, etc., and schedules meetings/appointments. Supports special projects as needed to include customer, community and internal campaigns. Manages travel arrangements for department associates. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications: 4-year college degree; or 2-year college degree with 1 years related work experience, preferably in communications/marketing in a midsize or large bank environment; or High School graduate with 3 years related work experience, preferably in communications/marketing in a midsize or large bank environment
Basic knowledge of the banking industry
Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Ability to work independently and as a team for collaboration when needed.
Preferred: Prior experience related to project management systems. Prior experience related to community engagement systems. Degree in Marketing or Communications.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
