This is a job for a Treasury Services Product Manager position with a company located in the Gulfport, MS area.
JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY: Responsible for the design, development, and marketing of new Treasury Management products for one or more divisions or market segments. Reviews and modifies existing Treasury Management products to maximize profitability and meet strategic business objectives and customer needs. Experienced in product management or with Treasury products and services and is able to work with little management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Evaluates potential products, recommends the development of new products, or modifies existing products to meet community needs and bank financial goals. Designs and develops new Cash Management products and modifications of existing products in conjunction with other bank departments. Monitors the profitability of existing products and services. Makes recommendations to improve profitability, effectiveness, and efficiency of products and services to achieve short and long term strategic goals. Evaluates existing products and services to ensure that the bank remains competitive in the market. Sets and recommends strategies and goals for the marketing of assigned products and services including market direction, pricing, budget, and monitoring achievement of market goals. Works with advertising and sales personnel to develop programs to promote assigned products. Keeps abreast of industry trends and regulations, identifies changes affecting the department, takes appropriate action, and notifies staff of internal operation changes.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a business-related field and/or equivalent experience. Marketing experience and sales experience preferred. 5+ years of banking product design/development and business development experience. 3+ years of experience in cash and treasury management including exposure to sales, operations and systems. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and/or Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) designation preferred. Project management experience. Knowledge of banking products and design. Knowledge of marketing and advertising strategies. Knowledge of product/community/market relationships. Knowledge of bank Treasury Management products, services, operating systems and interactions with the Federal Reserve Bank. Basic knowledge of rules and regulations governing accounts and cash management operations. Working knowledge of Personal Computers and Microsoft Office Software Applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Superior product development skills. Ability to interpret market needs. Superior marketing and problem solving skills. Ability to research and compile information for the purpose of recommending product and/or services marketing opportunities. Superior analytical skills.
