This position is for a Teller/New Accounts opportunity for a bank in the Madison, MS area.
Summary: This position is a dual role providing a critical link between the Bank and its customers. Responsibilities include a variety of sales, service and transactional functions while protecting both from unnecessary risk by following compliance and operational procedures. Excellent customer service is of utmost importance.
Requirements and Qualifications: Teller or new accounts experience is preferred. Both would be a plus.; A working knowledge of Bankway would be ideal.; Absent experience, one year steady work history handling cash and direct customer service experience is required for consideration.; The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the motivation to grown within the organization.; Essential skills include an aptitude for basic math and an understanding of debts and credits, moderate computer skills and a natureal inclination to provide excellent customer service.; Necessary skills include organizational, problem solving, the ability to communicate effectively and to work independently according to Bank policy and procedure.; Must present oneself professionally in dress and demeanor and be friendly.; Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.; Must have flexibility with work schedule to run errands if/as needed and to travel to the Main Bank in Waynesboro and other locations for initial training and occasional meetings.
