Executive Assistant
Chashama is a non-profit organization that supports artists by partnering with property owners to transform unused real estate into space for artists to create, present, and connect with the mission to increase equity and bolster diversity in the arts.
As the personal assistant, you are the righthand of the Artistic Director. You should be flexible and like a fast-paced environment. To flourish in the role, you will possess the ability to anticipate the needs of a busy executive.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Artistic Director's professional and personal schedule and calendar.
- Manage incoming and outgoing emails for AD, prepare correspondence for sending and review.
- Conduct research, organize data and materials, record and distribute meeting minutes, track program and organizational data into central database.
- Assist with administration, event production, recruit and supervise volunteers and interns.
- Provide support to office and program staff with internal operations and productivity.
- Execute drafts of proposals, timelines and presentations for consideration.
- Assist with Social Media.
- Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, light website tasks.
- Update company Press review and Press Log.
Qualifications:
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and focused.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to multi-task, time manage, and solve problems creatively.
- Able to draft, edit and proofread documents and correspondence.
- Both a team player and can work autonomously with strong initiative.
- Familiar with cultural institutions and non-profits.
- Discrete and the ability to maintain sensitive relationships.
- Energetic and eager to go above and beyond to accomplish tasks and responsibilities with poise and sensitivity.
- Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (required).
- Familiarity with database software, Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).
Time Commitment: Full-time, 32-40 hours a week.
$50,000 - $60,000 annual salary
