Full Time experienced fitter needed full-time or part time at busy custom picture frame shop. Prospective employee must display extensive care, knowledge of, and use best practices when handling fine art of all kinds. Hinging works on paper using BEVA, P90, wheat paste, etc., fitting paintings on all surfaces, cutting 4-ply & 8-ply mats are all desired skills. Attention to detail is key. General art handling ability a great asset, packing and wrapping art correctly, often for shipment. Wood-shop machine and tool experience a huge plus, picture frame construction a bonus. Potentially a trainable position, but 2+ years experience in a frame shop preferred.
