During the ten weeks, you will delve into the dynamic world of luxury jewelry through on-the-job learning, exploration of the intricate facets of our business, and networking opportunities with Tiffany leaders and fellow interns alike. Selected interns are expected to be available for work for the entire 10-week program. Location: This position will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters in New York, NY. Salary: Compensation for this internship will be $25 per hour. Position Overview:The Intern, Interior Designer is responsible for assisting the Interiors team in the interior design process from design concept to store opening. In this role, you will be able to complete day to day tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Accountabilities:DesignOrganize and maintain the samples library up to date; ensure there is a structure in place for new samples, samples matching the official concept and samples related to ongoing or past R&D.Order, track and ship out samples.Support the team in creating project presentations and the Interiors Standard Guidelines deck.Contribute to concept design and mood boards for retail stores as needed.Assist the team on Research & Development initiatives.Complete photoshop/renderings tasks.Organize and maintain the Interiors team server folders.Keep up to date with luxury design and materials trends to constantly reference the rich heritage database.Requirements:A competed or in-progress degree in Interior Design is preferred.Existing interior design experience, specifically within retail and residential is preferred.Basic Mac and Microsoft OS skills.AutoCAD.Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Sketchup, Rhino, 3D Max, or other rendering programs experience a huge plus.Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
