Work you'll do
As a Deloitte Tax intern on the operate team, you will collaborate with teams to support client engagements with timely and quality compliance services. Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
• Assist with project management for compliance engagements (US and global), as well as the setup of new client engagements and transition related support
• Support data management and reporting
• Assist with staffing and resource management for large engagement teams
• Support large scale client opportunities (i.e. proposals)
• Collaborate with teams to plan, draft, and manage communications
A successful tax intern will be able to:
• Prioritize tasks
• Manage multiple assignments in a team environment in-person and virtually
• Apply problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications
Required
• Currently pursuing a degree Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in business, management or related field
• Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.0)
• Ability to travel up to 15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Ability to perform job responsibilities within in a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per week
• The start date for this position will be in Summer 2025
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
Preferred
• Strong academic track record (GPA of 3.2 or higher)
• Data management coursework or experience highly desirable
• Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $25 to $48.
