Blacklock Financial are partnered with a leading private equity firm who are looking to add an Investor Relations Analyst to their team. The firm focuses on investments across varying sectors.
Position Overview:
This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in finance and private equity, as well as experience in communication, data analysis, and investor relations. As an integral part of the team, you will support the investor communication strategies, manage reporting, and help ensure the investors receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investor Communication: Support the preparation of investor presentations, quarterly reports, newsletters, and fund performance updates.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in compiling data for performance reports, financial statements, and ad hoc investor requests; analyze fund metrics and prepare key performance indicators.
- Client Service: Act as a point of contact for investor inquiries, managing responses and escalating issues as needed.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing and investment teams to support fundraising efforts and develop content for investor-facing materials.
- Due Diligence: Aid in managing the due diligence process for prospective investors, including compiling responses and preparing documentation.
- CRM Management: Maintain investor data in CRM systems, ensuring records are accurate and updated regularly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in investor relations, financial analysis, or client-facing roles within private equity, investment banking, or asset management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, team-oriented environment.
- A proactive approach and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
