1.Studio Artist Intern
•Role Overview: As a Studio Artist Intern, you will work closely with resident artists, assisting with art production, studio management, and organization. This role also involves engaging with visitors and clients, providing insights into the artistic process.
•Learning Opportunities: This hands-on role will immerse you in the creative process, offering valuable experience in studio practice, particularly in painting and drawing. You will also gain practical skills in studio management and organization, as well as how to present and discuss artwork with potential clients and collectors—a key skill in the art industry.
2.Art Studio Management Intern
•Role Overview: As an Art Studio Management Intern, you will assist in the overall management of the studio, ensuring that all operations run smoothly. This role includes organizing materials, coordinating schedules, managing inventory, and supporting the artists in their day-to-day activities.
•Learning Opportunities: You will gain practical experience in studio operations, learning how to maintain an organized and efficient workspace. This position will also provide you with insights into the logistical side of art production, including managing supplies, coordinating with vendors, and supporting artists in various aspects of their work.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
•Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
•Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, and Google Docs is preferred.
•Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for art.
•Studio practice skills in painting and drawing, with hands-on experience in a studio setting.
•Excellent customer service and sales capabilities.
•Eager to learn and grow in a mentorship-style environment.
