Summary
The National Sales Development Manager is responsible for the market introduction, expansion and sales of the organization's automated and semi-automated paper wrapping solutions into North America.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Participation in the development of the market and sales strategy in coordination with the VP of Sales and Product Management, as well as their economic and success-oriented implementation.

Use of experience from an extensive record of accomplishment of selling integrated automation equipment to put together implementation plans for target markets and identify and build relationships with strategic clients.

Apply Product and Marketing affinity in devising new routes to market, and new market growth.

Identification of prospects based on previous networks and client needs awareness, to deliver results.
-
Determination of potential projects and acquisition of new customer groups and support and development of customers post-close.
-
Customer-oriented conception, calculation, and participation in the preparation of offers and project management.
-
Growth and Maintenance of national and international relationships within the company as well as contacts to business partners, important decision-makers and the expansion of the network.

Identification of qualified prospects and acting as Team Leader from start to close of client implementation projects
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree.
-
Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience working with automated wrapping solutions and equipment sales.

Strong commercial mindset, closing skills and hunter mentality
-
Strong background dealing with integrators, engineers, and operations managers.
-
Good understanding of different WMS Systems and how they work.
-
Activity in field sales or project planning, with active customer care or the management of parallel projects.

Knowledge of market development and the sale of general mechanical engineering products in direct sales
-
Knowledge of the sale of technically demanding and advice-intensive products to industrial sectors is required.
-
Experience with CRM programs.

Economic planning and organization of business trips.

Experience in the preparation, implementation, and control of equipment implementation projects.

Motivated and enthusiastic sales personality with good presentation skills and confidence in closing deals.

Conceptual, structured, and independent way of working.
-
Persuasive communication, contact, and negotiating skills.
-
Confidence when dealing with different hierarchical levels and cultures.
-
High technical understanding and the ability to explain complex processes in an understandable way.

Travel expectation 50% time.
