Who You Are:
As a Customer Data Analyst, you are responsible for advancing Michael Kors use of customer data by building and maintaining a 360° view of the Customer. Customer data is a strategic asset leveraged to inform Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, CRM, Digital Marketing, Retail Marketing, and Brand Marketing decisions as well as to identify opportunities to drive growth and efficiency at Michael Kors.
This role supports the customer data life cycle for Michael Kors, including data acquisition, ingestion, management, enhancement, quality, and access. This role will also produce critical business reporting and support users across the organization in leveraging customer-level data to drive business strategies and tactics.
The Customer Data Analyst will become a subject matter expert on Michael Kors customer data and data platforms and will identify opportunities to automate manual processes and drive operational efficiencies.
What You’ll Do:
- Support day-to-day operations and development activities within the customer data.
- Development and execution of SQL and R / Python based queries to create KPI-based reports. Draws recommendations from insights for business-facing customer profiles.
- Acts as an expert on Michael Kors customer data, maintaining a clear understanding of the data, business, and privacy rules in the Data Dictionary. Maintains data documentation for dissemination.
- Supports new technological integrations, upgrades, and ingestion of new data sources by validating data between systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and research data inconsistency issues, working closely with IT business partners and outside vendors to enhance Michael Kors Analytics and Reporting Environment.
- Works with IT Data Engineer to define and implement new business variables and capabilities in Michael Kors Analytics and Reporting Environments.
- Executes data capture and database reporting to compare with Michael Kors goals for database health and growth.
- Works autonomously towards delivery dates, is inquisitive and adaptive to changing data landscapes and tools.
You’ll Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, or related field
- 1-3 years’ experience in data and analytics role
- 1+ years’ experience with Customer Data
- Proficiency in SQL and R / Python
- Ability to translate data concepts across and between business-focused and technology-based partners and colleagues
- Excellent project execution capabilities; strong attention to detail; able to define timelines and ensure projects stay on-track.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
