Responsibilities
- Interpret and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate components accurately.
- Operate machinery and tools for machining, welding, soldering, and pipe threading.
- Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to assemble metal structures.
- Build ductwork and other sheet metal components as required for various projects.
- Rig materials and components safely for transport or installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and quality assurance.
- Conduct routine maintenance on fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication, including machining, welding, pipe threading, soldering, ductwork, and sheet metal work.
- Strong understanding of industry codes and standards related to fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Ability to operate various fabrication tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Physical stamina for standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials as needed.
- Use of a CNC Burning Table
- Reading Blueprints
- Thinking outside the box
Pay is based on experience and will be discussed in the interview process.
