Full Job DescriptionUI/UX DesignerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our Telecommunications clients UX design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user experiences for our web applications and digital products, ensuring a user-centric approach throughout the design process.This is a hybrid contract in New York, NY or Miami, FL requiring 3 days onsite per week. The contract will be 2-months to start and is expected to extend into 2025 once those budgets are approved. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisionsCreate wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using FigmaDesign and optimize navigation menus, search boxes, and landing pagesDevelop visual design elements and typography that align with brand guidelinesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and product managersParticipate in design reviews and provide constructive feedbackUtilize tools like JIRA and Smart Sheets to track progress and manage projectsImplement conversational design for chatbots and IVR systemsEnsure consistency in designs across various platforms and devicesQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fieldMaster's Degree is a plusProven experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolioProficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative SuiteStrong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologiesExperience with conversational design and natural language processingKnowledge of web applications and enterprise applicationsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and experience using JIRA and Smart SheetsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
