Full Job DescriptionSocial Commerce DirectorThis role will be onsite hybrid in NYC by Q2. Open to relocation.Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and innovative Social Commerce Director to lead our social commerce initiatives. This role will focus on developing and executing strategies to enhance our revenue through social platforms, optimize user journeys, and drive engagement. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social commerce mechanics and a proven track record in revenue growth through channels like TikTok Shop and Instagram Shop.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive social commerce strategy to drive revenue growth across platforms.Optimize user journeys and engagement on social media platforms, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.Leverage expertise in TikTok Shop and Instagram Shop to enhance brand presence and sales.Monitor emerging trends in social commerce and adjust strategies accordingly.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create performance-driven content that resonates with consumers.Manage affiliate marketing programs and influencer partnerships to maximize reach and revenue outcomes.Lead live shopping experiences, including TikTok Live, to engage customers and drive sales.Analyze performance metrics to inform decision-making and improve engagement strategies.Establish best practices for social commerce across all channels, focusing on operational nuances and consumer demand.QualificationsProven experience in social commerce strategy and revenue growth.Expertise in TikTok Shop, Instagram Shop, and other social commerce platforms.Strong understanding of user journey optimization and engagement techniques.Experience with live shopping events and performance marketing.Demonstrated success in direct-to-consumer (DTC) selling and digital marketing.Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach to team management.Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.Knowledge of affiliate marketing and influencer management best practices.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
