Our client, a major sophisticated news outlet based in NYC, is looking for a digital designer to join the team. This is a hybrid role, starting out as contract but with the potential to go full time next year. 40 hours per week.
You will:
- Work with the marketing team to create engaging digital advertising , with an understanding of direct response best practices from an engagement and conversion standpoint
- Participate in marketing meetings to contribute ideas for upcoming campaigns
- Work within brand guidelines to keep the asethetic on point whilst also adding some flair to existing creative
- Use your resourcefulness to move things forward without tons of supervision
You have:
- Well-rounded digital design skills with 3+ years of experience
- Experience creating multi-channel marketing assets --- emails, site ads, landing pages and social media units
- Understanding of digital creative delivery requirements for social media advertising
- Experience with After Effects
- An elevated design aesthetic complementary to the brand's look and feel
- An understanding of direct response best practices and how design influences consumers to take an action
- Experience in marketing, advertising or e-commerce
- Required skills: Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, After Effects, knowledge of Salesforce a plus
