We are excited to announce the creation of a brand-new role at Darkroom: Creative Strategist. As the first of its kind at the company, this position will be the cornerstone of what we believe is the future foundation of all successful growth marketing programs.
You will be responsible for crafting compelling, platform-specific campaigns that resonate with target audiences, collaborating closely with designers and editors to bring creative ideas to life, and analyzing performance metrics across channels to continually refine strategies for maximum impact.
This is a remote role and is open to candidates based in the state(s) of, Pennsylvania, New York, or Florida, and must have the right to work within the United States.
Who You Are
- Creative Visionary: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with designers, editors, and cross-functional marketing teams to bring creative ideas to life while seamlessly bridging departmental collaboration.
- Exceptional Copywriting Skills: Strong experience in crafting impactful messaging, defining brand tone, and developing engaging body copy, captions, and hooks that resonate with target audiences, driving measurable engagement across various platforms.
- Platform Proficiency: Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and other emerging platforms, with an understanding of platform-specific content strategy, creative direction, and technical specifications.
- Campaign Development Expertise: Demonstrated track record of creating successful, multi-channel campaigns for organic, paid, web, and other digital touchpoints.
- Data Sensibility: Ability to understand and analyze campaign performance, leveraging metrics across platforms like Meta, TikTok, CTV, and web to assess impact and inform strategy adjustments.
What You'll Do
Creative Storytelling
- Develop engaging content strategies tailored to client brand voice and objectives across social platforms.
- Create compelling and culturally relevant storytelling concepts that drive brand engagement.
- Collaborate with design and video teams to produce high-quality assets, such as videos, graphics, and GIFs, optimized for each social media channel. You will set and maintain a very high bar for creative deliverables.
- Write descriptive creative briefs to guide the development of assets, ensuring all creative aligns with strategic goals.
Strategy, Research & Analytics
- Review performance metrics with client teams to refine strategies, ensure alignment with their goals, and pivot when necessary
- Conduct competitive research to identify industry trends and relevant cultural moments that can inspire content.
- Use data-driven insights to identify white space opportunities in market and inform forward looking creative decisions.
- Proficient in performance metrics
Client Management
- Lead regular client meetings to communicate the impact of creative strategies, review campaign performance metrics, and discuss insights and opportunities for optimization, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations to increase brand awareness
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring alignment on goals, creative direction, and project deliverables.
Project Management
- Oversee the end-to-end creative development process, from ideation to execution, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with internal creative teams to manage timelines, resource allocation, and production schedules.
- Ensure that all creative assets align with project scope, objectives, and brand guidelines.
