Job Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day communications between Fields Sales, Marketing, Category Development, Creative & Wall Strategy Merch Ops
- Responsible for all merchandising meeting agendas and minutes
- Collaborate with Category Development, Field Sales, Marketing and N+1 to drive brand merchandising vision for Maybelline to be cascaded across Food, Drug and Mass accounts
- Work with Category Development and field sales teams to create and execute retailer specific basic planograms each season (dominant set sizes + smaller set sizes to maximize product mix), including POG briefings.
- Ensure all planograms are released on time based on retailer needs with Wall Strategy Merch Ops.
- Work with N+1 and Brand Activation sales team to optimize product mixes to drive productivity.
- Responsible for leading new merchandising fixture briefs & execution for cassettes and permanent merchandising solutions, including budget management.
- Lead coordination of all seasonal item information for Field Sales & Category Development to ensure on time delivery: new Item set up, SKU priorities, tray Rankings, shade Line-ups, graphic Priorities.
- Lead creative briefings for all seasonal national and account specific permanent hot spots and aisletalkers.
- Manage the copy process and copy sheet, ensuring copy is rooted consumer insights with on time delivery
- Assist with executing seasonal artwork strategy, working with Creative, Marketing and CMI to drive insight driven POS (where relevant).
- Manage account feedback, approvals with marketing, Wall Strategy Merch Ops and Creative.
- Work with N+1, Creative and Marketing to ensure all national artwork is consistent with the brand equity, global vision and US specific marketing priorities.
- Ensure all artwork is released on time based on retailer needs with Wall Strategy Merch Ops (including account meetings & planogram walk-throughs).
- Assist with preparing and managing the monthly management meetings, including presentation creation, meeting coordination, planogram development, wall resets, fixture approvals and seasonal budget preparation.
- Work with N+1 to drive account specific elevation: collaborate with Brand Activation to ensure executional excellence and promotional shipments.
Education/Experience
Job Requirements:
- 1-3 years of related business experience
- Marketing, merchandising or sales related experience is highly desired
- Consumer package goods or beauty industry experience is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of planograms, merchandising design, retailer strategies and in-store innovation is highly desired
- Experience diagnosing consumer shopping behaviors and adapting strategy
