Contract Length: 6 months (with potential for extension or conversion to full-time)
Location: Hybrid in NYC (3 days in office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Pay Rate: $55 - $65/hour

About the Role
Our client, a prominent global financial institution, is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to enhance quality assurance for high-impact consumer-facing projects. You'll work on either their website or mobile app, each serving over 100 million users, ensuring exceptional performance, reliability, and user experience. As part of the QA team, you’ll be essential in creating and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers and product managers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed test scripts for large-scale, consumer-facing financial applications.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to uphold top-quality standards.
Use Java, JavaScript, and the Karate Framework extensively for automated testing.
Identify, track, and report defects, supporting continuous improvements.
Qualifications
3 to 5+ years of QA experience, ideally in a high-traffic web or mobile environment.
Must have strong hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, and Karate Framework.
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hybrid team environment.
