On the Microsoft Communications team, you’ll join a group of professionals focused on telling the stories that help people fall in love with Microsoft, the things we make and the impact we have in the world. More and more, consumers are making decisions on the technology they use through the work of content creators and influencers.
As part of Microsoft’s Consumer Communications team, the Creator and Consumer Lifestyle team is looking for a Senior Communications Manager, Creator Engagement to lead creator engagement. This person will serve as the coordinator of creator engagements across the team. Leading identification, outreach and relationship building with established and emerging creators across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other social channels. They will be a very online, results-driver communicator to identify and engage these creators on behalf of Microsoft.
This role will work alongside the Communications and Marketing teams that reach consumers including Copilot, Windows and Devices, and M365 to create and execute campaigns which capture the attention of creators on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter – and their audiences. The Senior Communications Manager will build strong relationships with influencers through regular communication, events, and seeding programs, manage activations involving influencers, and share results and learnings with internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate will prioritize diversity and seek to promote inclusive voices. They’ll also have a deep understanding of the evolution of social content, closely following a variety of personalities in space or perhaps creating content themselves. Previous experience in the content creator space is essential, ideally managing creator campaigns for major consumer brands. Added bonus if there is relevant experience in the AI or consumer space.
