This role will be based in New York City.
Be a part of the team that's changing the way the world works as Commercial Counsel, Products and Services Marketplace, Advertising. As an integral member of our fast-paced, well-rounded, collaborative, and fun Legal & Public Policy team, you will play an active role in fulfilling LinkedIn's mission of connecting the world's professionals to make them more productive and successful.
In this role, you will focus on addressing the novel and complex legal and business issues that confront a fast-growing company committed to innovation. You will work primarily with our Ad Tech business, negotiating digital ad agreements with advertisers, media agencies, and digital advertising platforms. You will collaborate with our sales organization and management to identify legal risks when contracting digital ad agreements and execute solutions accordingly. You will also negotiate Software-as-a-Service transactions for other Sales teams across LinkedIn.

Responsibilities:
- Independently draft, review and negotiate sales-related agreements for LinkedIn’s Ad Tech and Sales Solutions teams. Representative agreements include insertion orders, media agreements, strategic partnership agreements, order forms, subscription agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Lead negotiation calls with customers.
- Collaborate with LinkedIn’s Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Product, and other cross-functional teams on internal approvals and escalations to ensure sales transactions are closed on time and in accordance with internal corporate policies and processes.
- Act as a legal partner to the LinkedIn Ad Tech and Sales Solutions teams and drive new strategic projects and initiatives that impact positive business results and sales opportunities.
- Optimize contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation and management processes for the Legal & Public Policy team to create leverage and efficiency.
- Provide support to senior attorneys as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- J.D. and admission to the bar or the ability to practice in-house in your office location
- 3+ years' experience practicing as an attorney, including 2+ years of experience in online/digital advertising transactions (Ad Tech)
- Experience with negotiating the IAB standard terms and conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to build strong relationships with Sales and other cross-functional teams
- A proven understanding of general commercial contracting, SaaS agreements, and intellectual property law principles.
- Provides exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and negotiate agreements independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to manage various deals and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with video and CTV advertising, sponsorships, podcast and other media production.
- Exercises sound business judgment and escalates material issues to senior attorneys as needed
- Sense of humor and positive “can-do” attitude

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $120,000 to $195,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
