Neovera is seeking an experienced Senior Consulting Business Developer with Cyber Security Experience who has a proven track record of success, an established network of contacts, and the ability to provide strategic security advisory services. This is a salary plus commission-based role with no earning caps, offering the flexibility to work independently from a home office.
As a trusted advisor, the ideal candidate will provide security strategy services to potential customers while identifying and closing sales opportunities. This role requires self-discipline, independence, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Initiate and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of medium, large, and enterprise clients.
• Drive new business by leveraging your existing rolodex of contacts and identifying security needs within target accounts.
• Provide consultative security strategy services to clients, positioning Neovera Corporation as a trusted partner for long-term growth.
• Present and articulate Neovera Corporation’s value proposition, including services and pricing, to prospective clients.
• Schedule and lead sales presentations, collaborate with technical teams for detailed service discussions, and follow up on leads to drive conversions.
• Draft and present Statements of Work (SOW) and quotes, closing opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Conduct market research to understand client security challenges and industry trends.
• Identify and pursue new leads by maintaining regular communication with current clients and prospecting new contacts.
• Update and maintain accurate client information within Neovera Corporation’s CRM tool, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up.
• Track and record client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress.
Key Competencies:
• Build long-lasting relationships based on trust, acting as a strategic advisor on cybersecurity challenges and solutions.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision, setting your own schedule and driving your sales pipeline.
• Effectively communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, influencing key decision-makers.
• Handle multiple sales opportunities concurrently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and sales targets.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of cybersecurity services and solutions, staying informed of industry trends and emerging threats.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years in B2B security sales, with a proven track record of leveraging an established network of clients to drive revenue growth.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, including executives and technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the entire sales process from lead generation through close, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions, security architecture, and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in CRM systems, particularly in managing client interactions, tracking sales activities, and generating insightful reports.
• Preferably in Business Administration, Communications, or Computer Science.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are highly preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years in solution selling / business development activities, ideally within cybersecurity or a related industry.
