Overview
• We seek a talented and experienced Chatbot and AI Conversational Designer with a strong focus on User Experience (UX) and Human-Centered Design (HCD). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of conversational design principles, a passion for creating seamless and engaging user experiences, and the technical acumen to bring innovative AI solutions to life.
Responsibilities
• Design Conversational Flows: Create intuitive and effective conversational flows for chatbots and AI assistants, ensuring a natural and user-friendly interaction.
• User Research: Conduct user research to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviors. Use insights to inform and refine conversational designs.
• Prototyping: Develop prototypes and wireframes to illustrate conversational designs and facilitate user testing.
• Testing and Iteration: Perform usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve conversational interfaces. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analytics.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of conversational designs with overall product goals.
• Content Creation: Develop and maintain a content library for chatbot responses, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and accuracy.
• Understand Multi-Channel Strategies: Design conversational experiences that can be deployed across various platforms and devices, including web, mobile, and voice assistants.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in AI, machine learning, and conversational design. Integrate best practices into the design process.
• Metrics and Analysis: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for conversational experiences and analyze performance data to drive improvements.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of conversational design processes, guidelines, and standards.
Your background
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX Design, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in conversational design, UX design, or a related field, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating engaging conversational experiences.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in conversational design tools (e.g., Voiceflow, Botmock, Dialogflow), prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma), and usability testing tools.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze user data and feedback to inform design decisions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and solutions clearly.
• Problem-Solving: Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced Degrees: Master’s degree in a related field.
• AI Expertise: Experience with AI and machine learning algorithms, particularly as they pertain to natural language processing (NLP) and understanding (NLU).
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in industries such as healthcare, finance, or customer service.
• Languages: Proficiency in multiple languages, as it relates to multilingual conversational design.
