The role:
Reporting directly to the Chairman and Chief executive Officer, The Global Head of Marketing will lead and manage the corporate Marketing function across Cantor Fitzgerald, Cantor and BGC Group, along with coordinating with the Marketing leadership at Newmark, Cantor Fitzgerlad’s commercial real estate services company.
This person will be responsible for leading a centralized team to deliver comprehensive, integrated marketing strategies aligned with key corporate and business objectives that elevate the Cantor Fitzgerald brand, drive business growth across various segments, improve the client experience, facilitate employee advocacy and attract top talent. They will also partner closely and sit with the Global Head of Corporate Communications to align on key initiatives delivered across both groups.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading for all marketing strategies across Cantor Fitzgerald, L.P., Cantor, BGC Group and their affiliates.
- Overseeing the development, production, and implementation of all integrated marketing programs that directly align to the business objectives of the various Cantor Fitzgerald divisions to help increase awareness, engagement, acquisition and retention of its products and services.
- Generating a stronger understanding and positive perception of the Cantor Fitzgerald, L.P. brand globally by highlighting its diversified business model and promoting the services offered through its affiliate companies; Cantor, BGC Group and Newmark.
- Establishing productive and collaborative relationships with the CEO, executive committee members, and key business stakeholders.
- Preparing the Chairman and senior executives for public events and media interviews.
- Facilitating the integration of acquired businesses, repositioning the branding and positioning of new businesses to align with Cantor Fitzgerald’s corporate messaging.
- Partnering with investor relations and legal teams to prepare quarterly financial earnings, press releases, conference call scripts and investor presentations for BGC Group.
- Managing the organization of all conferences and corporate events, including the annual Charity Day on September 11.
- Overseeing all marketing assignments delivered by external agencies, vendors and suppliers.
- Leading the development and maintenance of all Cantor Fitzgerald digital and social properties and websites.
- Partnering with corporate communications on all internal communication initiatives with employees globally, including management of internal intranet websites.
- Facilitating the growth and professional development of the marketing team, including the delivery of yearly performance evaluations.
- Ensuring that the marketing roadmap and technology stack supports both the short and long-term strategic objectives of Cantor Fitzgerald.
- Determining which KPIs will be used to track and measure the success and progress of all marketing programs.
- Tracking yearly budget targets and headcount allocations to ensure department stays in line with set parameters.

You’ll need to have:
- 10+ years of experience leading in-house corporate marketing and/or communications teams with a successful track record in B2B financial services marketing.
- A strong understanding of the financial services markets, including knowledge of key client segments and their decision makers
- Proven ability to lead people and motivate teams to focus on key business and organizational priorities.
- Experience building a high-performing team environment while focusing on strong team/individual development.
- An innovative approach to business opportunities, foreseeing problems before they arise, and challenging the way things have always been done.
- The ability to create long-term strategies and plans, which reflect a thorough understanding of how the business operates.
- Strong collaboration and relationship management skills with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, both externally and internally through strong level of presence, EQ and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working closely with both in-house and external marketing teams/agencies.
- Track record of developing and executing results oriented promotional, lead generation and customer engagement programs with proven ROI.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills with an ability to create project plans and manage through seamless execution.
- Ability to manage budgets and right-size initiatives based on requirements and constraints.
- Sound professional judgment and ability to prioritize work under pressure and to multi-task competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial mind-set and an ability to adapt and learn.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
Hybrid Working - We are currently operating a hybrid model for our shared services employees (including this role). We anticipate continuing these arrangements for the foreseeable future with periodic review. Hybrid for Cantor Fitzgerald & its affiliates across the working week, means four days office based and one day remote.
The expected total compensation for this position ranges from $400k-$500k. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
