Holden is an NYC-based fine jewelry company that celebrates love in all its forms. Our entire product line is gender-neutral and handcrafted from recycled gold and lab-grown stones. We’re proudly Climate Neutral Certified and donate 1% of all sales to The Trevor Project (with a minimum annual donation of $50,000). Backed by the investors of Hungry Root, Made In, Boxy Charm, Mack Weldon, and Spindrift, we’re focused on developing new product categories, making jewelry more accessible for all, and rethinking the entire jewelry shopping experience. WHAT’S THE ROLE?
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and drive the growth of our brand. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of the Holden brand and involves overseeing various aspects of marketing, including brand management, paid media, retention/lifecycle marketing, and new growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and comfortable with rolling up their sleeves to contribute directly to marketing activities. While knowledge across various marketing channels, including paid and organic social media, is highly beneficial, expertise in these areas is not mandatory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lifecycle + Paid Media Marketing (50%):
- Concept, execute, and analyze email + SMS campaigns and automated flows
- Support the strategy and execution of paid media campaigns (Meta + Google) to drive customer acquisition and retention
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights to optimize ROI
- Nice to have: Ability to create compelling copy for emails, advertisements, and other marketing materials
Brand Management (30%):
- Oversee the overall brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and retail showrooms
- Work closely with the design team to maintain a cohesive visual identity and brand narrative
- Develop and execute brand campaigns that enhance market presence and align with company goals
Social Media Management (20%):
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Holden’s goals to increase awareness + organic traffic and engage customers
- Nice to have: Experience in managing social media accounts, including posting content, engaging with the community, and responding to inquiries
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on brand management, paid media, and retention/lifecycle marketing. Previous experience in the fashion or lifestyle industry is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo/Attentive (or a similar ESP), Meta Ads, Google Ads, Shopify, and GA4
- Proficient in analyzing marketing metrics and using data to drive strategy
- Familiarity with social media trends and strategies to increase engagement and grow our online presence
- Understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
- Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to work quickly and pivot nimbly between projects
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Experience developing and executing influencer marketing campaigns and partnerships is a plus
- Strong copywriting skills are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
REQUIREMENTS
- This position is a hybrid-remote position based in our Midtown NYC office (3 days/week in office)
