Job Summary/Purpose
The Retail Excellence Manager will be a key contributor in driving top-line growth for Prada’s Boutiques and Concession stores in North and South America. The role will have extensive exposure to the Prada Leadership Team as well as the Retail network, including Retail Directors and Store Managers. The Retail Excellence Manager will oversee analytics & insights generation (including managing weekly and monthly Business Reviews) and lead high value-add projects across strategic topics, such as store operations streamlining and commercial excellence.
Responsibilities
Analytics & Insights
- Conduct high quality Analytics and generate Insights to identify business Trends and Opportunities for Stores in the Region.
- Maintain and improve Regional Dashboards to efficiently and effectively track KPIs and support quick decision-making on strategic priorities.
- Proactively elevate key insights to Retail Leadership Team to address opportunities.
- Continuously evolve the Region’s Data & Analytics tools and processes in order to improve reporting effectiveness.
Business Reporting
- Lead the preparation of Business Review Presentations, coordinating with other departments (e.g., Events, Merchandising, …) to ensure main challenges and opportunities are being discussed.
Store Staffing and Incentives
- Run regular assessments on Retail Store Staff (from Store leadership to Client Advisors) together with HR and Regional Directors.
- Help Retail Directors ensure Stores are always appropriately sized given traffic and volume expectations and that we are maintaining the highest level of talent.
- Regularly define, roll out, monitor and review commercial incentives to ensure Retail staff is pushing on key Regional priorities.
Project Management
- Lead Project Management activities, including Planning, Execution, and Monitoring of initiatives aimed at bringing stores to full potential.
- Collaborate with Regional and HQ departments on cross-functional projects impacting stores, acting as pivot for the Retail Network.
- Identify and prioritize initiatives (also looking at competitor best practices) to positively impact store Processes, Operations, Staffing / Talent, Systems / Tools, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong academic track record from a leading institution.
- 5+ years of experience in highly analytical and strategic roles.
- Ability to work autonomously and analytically in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment, with a focus on execution and results.
- Proven track record of collaboration with senior executives; comfortable delivering formal presentations to management.
- Experience in project management, demonstrating high attention to detail and a bias for action and execution.
- Willingness to be present in retail environments as needed, to observe store operations, identify opportunities, and connect with store teams (10% travel expected).
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experienced in leveraging major analytics dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
- Experience in the fashion industry is a strong plus.
- Experience in programming and coding is highly desirable (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
The annual salary range for this position may vary from $90,000 - $110,000, and if applicable, may be eligible for bonuses and other incentive opportunities. The rate of pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
